The DLC is included in the title’s Expansion Pass, at no extra cost for Game Pass Ultimate members.
Microsoft and Atlus have announced that the Expansion Pass for Persona 3 Reload will be released on March 12. The bundle includes the final chapter DLC, Episode Aigis -The Answer-, which will be available in September. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can obtain the Expansion Pass for free with their membership.
In the original Persona 3, the epilogue was known as The Answer in the English version and Episode Aegis in the Japanese version. This led to the combined title in the remake’s DLC. The DLC will enhance the original story with updated graphics, improved quality-of-life features, and all the upgrades from Persona 3 Reload.
The DLC’s story revolves around a time loop similar to Groundhog Day. After experiencing the events of Persona 3 Reload, the S.E.E.S. members find themselves trapped in an endless March 31st. Players will take on the role of Aigis, a human-like android with the ability to summon Personas.
General Producer Kazuhisa Wada expressed that Episode Aigis -The Answer- is an essential part of Persona 3 Reload, satisfying both players who have experienced the original Persona 3 FES and newcomers to the game.
The Expansion Pass will also introduce new music and costumes, including remixes and fan-favorite tracks from previous Persona titles.
According to Microsoft, Persona 3 Reload has become Atlus’ fastest-selling title, surpassing one million sales in its first week.
