Just remove it, there’s no solution.

Chinese video doorbell manufacturer Eken is facing scrutiny after Consumer Reports discovered serious security issues with their products. These video doorbells, which are sold under various brands for around $30 each, can be found on popular online marketplaces such as Walmart, Sears, and Amazon. However, the devices lack encryption, leaving users vulnerable to potential breaches. Hackers can easily gain access to the user’s home IP address and WiFi network name, allowing them to take control of the device. Even if the original owner regains control, the hijacker can still obtain time-stamped images from the doorbell using its serial number. Consumer Reports has reached out to the manufacturer for comment, and Amazon, Sears, and Shein have not responded to the issue.
